Our Current Financial Need
During
the Carpenter's last trip to Nepal in 2013, they sat down with Pastor
Vijay, the President of the Himalayan Graduate School of Theology, and established their tentative expenses and respected budget.
Based on
this budget and the guidance from the board of directors. Ambassadors
for Truth estimate the first year's expenses to be around $60,000, and
will incur a projected start up cost of $25,000. With this budget in
mind, we are praying for 100 partners to give $600 per year [$50/month],
or 200 partners to give $300 per year [$25/month]. The Bible tells us
that God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He has called the
Carpenters to go and they have said yes Lord. We believe that God will
supply all of the needs of Ambassadors for Truth, for He has promised
that if we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, then all these
things will be added unto us for His glory.
Our Accountability
First
and foremost, Ambassadors for Truth is responsible to the God of heaven
on how we use the contributions of His people. God expects us to be
worthy stewards of your financial gifts and we will give an account to
Him on that day. This is a fearful thing. In addition, our missionaries
are accountable to the board of directors associated with Ambassadors
for Truth which is registered with the state of Tennessee as a nonprofit
organization. Ambassadors for Truth has also obtained it's 501(c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service to ensure that your
donations are tax deductible. Henceforth, our board of directors will carefully scrutinize how
money is spent.
